ALUU 4: Tribute To Lloyd, Ugonna, Tekena & Chidiaka

Some call u cultists Some call u thieves Initially u were worried about the shame of being stripped naked in full of the view of the crowd... The shame quickly turned into fear 4 ur life... They beat u so badly, u could not mutter a word... Your heart was saying "Please, please wait we're not thieves" but ur mouth would not move...

You were tired, aching and gasping 4 the breath of life... You look at the crowd and u see children, men and women that are ur fellow country men... Shock met disbelieve... Your hearts cried 4 help. You were thinking it was a dream, that this cannot be happening. They are not going to kill us...

You wanted to wake up so that u dream no more... But sadly enough, the dream was not an illusion but apparent reality... You shouted, Somebody Help! Please Somebody Help!...Click to continue.
Your Dad was not there to feel ur pain... Your Mum was not there to hear ur cry 4 help... Your Brothers & Sisters...were somewhere on their daily businesses, while u were dying somewhere in Aluu community... You were so badly beaten. You were hoping just to die so that it will all end... Then came the Petrol...and u were thinking... No they wont burn us... No No No Nooo! The fire came... The sun became so hot... You hoped 4 the rain which will never come... Oh the Pain... So Unbearable...

Then there was silence and peace... You crossed over to eternity, waving ur hands to ur lifeless body... Finally u found rest from ur tormentors. You were betrayed... ...betrayed by the person who won't pay his debt and dare turn on u and watch u die in such anguish. ...betrayed by the community who made so many assumptions and exercised their jungle judgement on u. ...betrayed by those who stood by and enjoyed this injustice. ...betrayed by the authorities that has no immediate response to community uproar. ...betrayed by every observer who thinks 4 whatever reason, u deserve this gruesome judgment. ...betrayed by any human being who whatever reason thinks any circumstance around ur death was justified by the judgment u were served. NO ONE SHOWED MERCY! NO ONE SHOWED COMPASSION! BETRAYAL WRITTEN ALL OVER THERE FACES AS THEY HACKED YOU GUYS TO DEATH... BY Andrea Chike.

  5. *Sob* Sob* So sad. Hard to breath when I think about this...which is any time I see a young guy walk by or on tv or read about this on the internet. I lost a brother who was the same age as these boys at the time he died. This is the most painful experience for me since his death. I see him in them. This is too sad.

  19. May their souls find peace after the torture and gruesome torment meted out to them. No matter what they may have done, ie assuming they were actually terrible armed robbers, no body deserves to die like that.

May their tormentors and jeering murderers never know peace, may they suffer a worse fate than these promising youths, may their land be cursed until they cry out for mercy.

RIP Allu 4.

  27. JUSTICE BINTIN LAYE11 October, 2012 21:39

IF THIS ISSUE IS SWEPT UNDER THE CARPET IT MEANS NIGERIA IS A CONFIRMED FAILED NATION. JUSTICE MUST BE SERVED, IF IT IS HAPPENING IN THE NORTH, IT IS UNDERSTANDABLE, BUT IN THE SOUTH NAA, NEVER, SHOULD THIS CASE BE ALLOWED TO GO LIKE THAT.

  28. Some Aluu indigenes r decrying d burning of their property saying they were parties to the gruesome murder of those 4boys. They must all face d music. I am a mother and when I showed the video to fellow mothers,we were all shedding tears. Since sunday,I've been unable to sleep,I'm anxious to know d outcome of d case, whether dat demonic man with d plank has bn apprehended. I live in Portharcourt n I cn tell u categorically that majority of d Ikwerre ppl r wicked. Mk d mistake of renting an apartment from any of dem,dey literally mk ur life unbearable as dey demand u renew ur rent even bfr d time should lapse. I watched in dismay as women/witches stood as those boys were lynched in cold blood, one even provided d petrol. My God!Such bestiality! It is bad enuf that ppl are still being kidnapped bt 2descend 2d level of killing another person without him explaining himself is unacceptable. I want justice! I want all d culprits apprehended! It can be anyone! Justice must be served!

  29. I read another such tribute on some other blog, made mention of them not running, thinking they could calmly explain the situation, that the chief or some other mature person present may listen to the voice of reasoning, the chants of "thief thief" became louder, still there was hope, they were stripped and dealt blows from all corners, still hopeful, paraded through the streets, hopeful maybe that a familiar face would spot them, that someone was coming to bail them from this awful situation, more beating, then the pounding, oh God, the pounding, feeling your skull cave in until brain matter is oozing, more pounding, then the wait...God end this, amidst ruffled mumbles, either still begging for mercy, or praying to God to end it. Hmmmmm

Nigeria, yes this happens very often in Nigeria, a thief is caught "RED HANDED", beaten and burnt to death, yes we detest the viciousness of armed robbers, and we only sigh when one has been caught and killed, but how many of us have seen it live? I haven't. Even the mere sight of a dead body on the road, we grimace, but this video was very important. We can no longer delude ourselves that evil does not live amongst us. We decry boko haram for their callousness, no type of death is good, but instant is better than slow and painful. Chiadiaka's father described it as being killed like chickens, I can categorically say there is no animal that is killed in such a manner.ahhhhh, Nigerians are cruel. From the politician who keeps state funds in his pockets, leaving death traps we call roads to continue to deteriorate, or not paying old and frail pensioneers their entitlements, or not paying teachers and doctors for the inestimable value they add to our lives, to the armed robber who takes what belongs to another, maiming and killing, to the husband abusing his wife, physically and emotionally, sometimes maiming and disfiguring, to the mother who throws her baby away, to the police who instead of serving, want to be served, to the employer driving fancy cars but will not increase salaries, to the man/woman who will defile a toddler, even the treatment meted out to our house helps, employing children as slaves under the guise of paying "wages"! Let us ask ourselves how much we pay them.

Le us wake up, let us stop turning a blind eye to the injustice we see every day, under our noses. Let us acknowledge that we have PROBLEMS. we cannot help ourselves if we continue to deny problems exist, or exornorate ourselves if we are not directly involved. How did we get to this point? Are we no longer Christians or Muslims? Are we no longer our brothers' keeper? Most importantly, is this the Nigeria we want for our children? May God bless us all, some can make our country better. Amen

  31. would I ever stop crying each passing day? ...hmmm..so speechless. my eyes can no longer hold my tears, my hrt bleeds faster, my soul fainteth n i ask:..hope, hope, hope where art thou? no response. hope is lost, no where to b found. Its d same questions doz guys asked..where art thou oh Hope? But thank God who is the giver of life, my condolence rests in the fact that u guys are with ur Maker, hope may be lost, but Life abounds n as long as life abounds, hope wil turn up someday. hope cannot die. we hope for justice and vengeance by God. Adieu brothers....

  33. The 1st time it was reported that our friends were being butchered there was a cry of horror. Then a hundred were butchered. But when a thousand were butchered and there was no end to the butchery, a blanket of silence spread. When evil - doing comes like failing rain, nobody calls out "stop". When crime begin to pile up they become invisible. R.I.P Ugonna, Lloyd, Tekena and Aladin. Like Your song lyrics said " there is indeed no love in the heart of the city". Rip aluu4

  34. THE PERSON THAT SCREAMED 'THIEF THIEF' CAUSING THE DEATH OF THE ALUU4 MUST NOW BE VERY AWARE OF THE NATIONAL OUTRAGE.

SO WHERE IS HE? ITS BETTER TO JUST SURRENDER AND ADMIT YOUR PART IN THIS, THAN HIDE IN FEAR, AND FOREVER DEPENDING ON THE LOYALTY OF KITH AND KIN. THEY WILL BETRAY YOU CUS THEY ALSO WANT PEACE IN THEIR LIFE

ITS BETTER TO JUST COME OUT AND SPEAK ON THE PART YOU PLAYED (((HEAVY SIGHS))
